    I don't see how Melky's top 5.

    Francisco/Verlander/Papelbon are easy takers. And I'd probably take Kinsler and Johjima over him

    And Verlander will win the ROTY and is deserving at this point, but it doesn't mean he is necessarily the best candidate as we have two months left to determine that

    I just said he was on track. If he keeps pitching well for the next 2 months, Verlander is pretty much set.

    I still think Markakis is in this. He has 8 HRs over his last 10 games. Hitting .308, with an OBP of .370, and a slugging of .471. He also plays amazing defense.

    i think papelbon should win it...I think he still has an under 1 era whihch is remarkable.
