Phillies utleys streak ends at 35 games

chase utley went 0-5 which means his streak ends and luis castillio and chase utley both hold the record by a second baseman.

I really wanted it to go further but oh well. It had to end sometime.

I knew it wouldn't hold up. That record is going to last for a very long time.

it was a nice run though.. he is a tough out in the lineup.. i like the way his career is heading. utley and howard seem to be a great nucleus to build around for the future.....

That may be a record that stands the test of time.... It is going to be very difficult to break that one.

Records are meant to be broken, one day someone will break Dimagio's record.
