you forgot Ichiro in the poll if you were modifying it to fit what he said there

well.. kinda late now.. for as one that would have voted for Ichiro, I voted for other when that was the only option....

And I noticed the Jeter thing too (not a great fielder by any stretch of the imagination)... but it was not as laughable an inclusion as Bonds

I think it depends on the interpretation of the question. If you weight Offense/Defense 50/50 in the question, then I agree. If you weight it on what you perceive to be their values, then I think Bonds isn't that laughable.

I think he has the repsect of everyone in baseball. Unfortunately he plays on the Phillies. He has a great arm and is a potential 40/40 guy. He just plays on a team which has a lot of talent and comes up short.

I'd have to vote for Edmunds too. Hard to think of anyone, but him.

Andruw Jones, too. Forgot about this dude.

I don't think Jones is as good as Edmonds though, Edmonds is a much better hitter and arguably as good a fielder.

Edmonds then Ichiro. Edmonds has had a high OPS and a fair amount of homers. And he has won a couple gold gloves so that gives it to him. If Ichiros OBP was higher and hit a couple more homers then it might go to him.

My vote was for ARod. Yes, he had a big error the other day but he played gold glove caliber at 3B last year and has made some good plays at the start of this year. I also look for some great offensive production this year after the year of adjustment is under his belt.

WoW, Thats some bullshit you dont even have Albert Pujols or Scott Rolen is this poll, And there both hella good. Albert is awsome when he is playing the field and when he is up same with Rolen.
