    Rickey Henderson MIA?

Seems so according to this article

At the relatively advanced age of 47, the Man of Steal remains a man of mystery. As of yesterday, Henderson had yet to inform the San Diego Surf Dawgs of his long-range outlook, his short-term plans, or even confirm his intention to claim his GBL championship ring during the ceremony scheduled for July 7.

This is, to be sure, classic Rickey. Baseball's peerless leadoff hitter may have lost a step after 30 years of legalized larceny, but he's endlessly elusive. Thirteen games into their second season, the Surf Dawgs still aren't sure whether to classify Henderson as retired, absent or missing in action.

    Doubt it'll happen.

Some independent league might be willing to take him.

The fact is, if Rickey stays in shape, he's a better bench option than a good amount of players in the majors right now, but he's too old for anyone to take the chance on so it'll never happen.
