    - The NL Central division leader (Cardinals) is only up by 1/2 a game of the NL West division leader (Padres) in the standings.

    - if the season ended today the wildcard would come out of the NL West. (Dodgers)

    - The Rockies are 2nd place in the wildcard standings.
