What was the best game pitched

by a single pitcher or bullpen in a playoff game in your opinion?

Personally i think Jack Morris's 10 inning shutout ball against the Braves in the 91 WS game 7 for the Twins was one hell of an outing

damn, since you said it was playoff game, yep its morris.

if you are talking about best game pitched regardless, its Kerry Wood.

One game I'm not sure but it's hard to top Sandy Koufax pitching complete game shutouts in games 5 and 7 of the 1965 WS.

I can't believe you people. Harvey Haddix threw 12 innings of PERFECT GAME ball only to lose on a HR in the 13th. How does a 10 inning shutout compare?

to be quite honest, I didn't even know who Haddix was, let alone this feat.

I guess that equals him with Don Larsen.

(It's not Larsen's fault he got run support)

Larsen's game was perfect but Morris' Game 7 was just as effective and it was a Game 7. This is the WS on the line and I have to give because he was facing John Smoltz who also pitched one of his greatest games too.

Ok then. Either Larsen or Game 4 of the 96 WS when Pettite and Smoltz dueled the entire game and it ended on a bases loaded walk for Wade Boggs.

    No, that game sucked.
