More injury fun - Eric Gagne to have nerve removed from elbow

    He will be out indefinitely.

Link to come, I saw it on ESPN.

He should just buy a new elbow.

Good news for the other teams in the NL West. Baez will take his place which isn't too bad but he is no Gagne. Lofton, Nomar, Werth and now Gagne.

Well, it appears Colleti acquiring Baez has already proven to be a smart move.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

Gagne's baseball career is so over. Stick a fork in him.

Jerk, why'd you switch to Ovechkin, now he'll get injured, too.

It is all in how you look at it! It is true though he is a GREAT closer and it would be a sad way to end your playing days!

Eric Gagne's right elbow nerve removal was termed a success by doctors and he could be back in action in two months. Gagne will be allowed to resume throwing in about three weeks with a possible return to action in eight weeks.

Dirty Kash... In two months the Dodgers could be at the bottom of a very tall mountain! If that the case your bet look good.

Vancouver's on the outsde looking in right now (and likely will continue to be) so it probably wouldn't matter.

    which is unfortunate.
