Mattingly is out
Don Mattingly, Dodgers part ways - CBSSports.com
That was expected.
How much you want to bet they hire Bud and win the World Series next year?

Re: Mattingly is out
Looks like Mach beat me to the punch by one minute with a couple thread bumps.
All well.

Re: Mattingly is out
I can already see the writing on the wall.
Dodgers hire Bud Black and win the World Series at least twice over the next three years.
It happened with Bochy and now it's time for round 2.

Re: Mattingly is out
Meh, he turned the Dodgers down before Ned hired (ugh) Grady Little because LA was too far from his Rancho Santa Fe home. Of course, that just means he'll be taking the job in Washington.

Re: Mattingly is out
So with Bud Negro off to Washington, that means Gabe Kapler is gonna get the job?
Ugh, whatever...this team's window to win a WS has been shut, in all likelihood, anyway. It's like the 2008 U.S. Presidential election with the terrible economy. Did it really matter who won?
