It's supposed to mean something to you because you're the Dodgers fan, and quotes aren't appropriate unless you're actually quoting something somebody said.

Well, see, now that I am aware there is a little more to the story then the sports talking heads and mini clips want to make out, I see what really happened. The media was trying to make it seem that the players just automatically bolted for the pool immediately after winning. To me, regardless of whether it is a time honored piece of the stadium like the Monument Park/Green Monster or new like the pool and as I said the slide at Miller Park, I don't think the visiting team should trounce all over whatever unique amenity happens to be attributed to the home team ball park.
However, since looking into the details a little more, now I understand that this wasn't the case, this happened way after the end of game and fans were already gone.........completely different scenario than the media wanted to paint to those outside of the Arizona and LA market (like me). They mentioned nothing about the "no celebration on field if you win" crap, so then I take it back, you are right, the DBacks brought it on themselves in this particular case.
I don't care what kind of beaning, head hunting or whatever rivalry you got going, if you have to "worry" that your fans may turn abusively ugly or even violent because they suck and can't give at least a little props to the better and winning team at that moment then you got a hell of more problems than a losing season.
They aren't that good right now...there're going out in the first round
