    Dodgers Odalis Perez available?

I was just listening to local sports radio and they briefly mentioned Perez possibly moving because the organization was tired of his attitude. Or something to that effect. So, what do you guys think about this? He is still a good pitcher that will get you a quality start nearly every time out. He has a good K/BB ratio as well. But he was out for the whole month of June. I still think he could be valuable addition to many teams if this rumor is true. So far, it is just talk though.

Yeah, the Dodgers would like to move him, but he's owed a lot of money and I'm not sure a lot of teams are interested. Can anyone say, Yankees?

He's owed $24 mil through 2007. He's not going anywhere.

I think it was our local station because it was a caller that was talking about the Dodgers season and whether they will make any deals. They brought up Dunn so i was listening, but they did not fail to mention that Perez should be on his way out either. I can't remember what station it was for sure. Then again, it may have been ESPN radio as well. I don't remember for sure.

The Dodgers won't trade Odalis Perez.

There talking about Dunn, Lawton, and Huff. Aurilia wants to help the Dodgers win the west but our infield is packed!

Aurilia couldn't hit when he was with the Padres, so you can't expect him to hit well in Dodger Stadium. He could provide depth at the middle infield and allow Jeff Kent to move over to 1b when Choi sits against lefthanders. But Aurilia's been known to complain about playing time as he has with the Reds.

Aurilia expects to be treated and played the same way he was when he had his hot seasons with San Fran.

This sucks big time! If Aurilia was not known for so much self love, he may be of value to the Dodgers. but he may have ruined that himself already. makes me dislike this guy even more. He would be a perfect match with Kent. (another guy that I cannot stand)

We would feel the same way about Aurilia if he were to be traded to LA and took playing time away from Oscar Robles. But I don't think DePodesta and Tracy will give in to his demands like O' Brien and Miley supposedly did.

    Thats all very true!!

I think that was a one time spurt by Robles. He is in a 0-18 slump.

Maybe since he knows Valetin is coming back his confidence level went down.

If you're right about the one time spurt, then Robles is another McKay Christiansen, except that you and me can throw to the right base, unlike McKay.

I am pretty sure I am right!

I remeber McKay, The last I heard of him, I think he was in the A's organzation. Not sure though.

Where did his buddy Mike Kinkade go? I know Hiram Bochachica (Sp) is with the Tigers. But I forget about Kinkade.

The Dodgers should of never of trade Jolbert Cabrera

Pat Burrell..err..Mike Kinkade is playing for the Indians' AAA club.

Cabrera couldn't hit, so they traded him to make room for Jose Hernandez.
