Well, if the Giants are still leading the division through the August 31 deadline, the Dodgers can claim every worthwhile player making a reasonable salary to block the Giants. They can have Soriano, though.

Let's hope not. I always make fun of Boston fans around these parts because they say "The Red Sox don't buy players like the Yankees". I always laugh at that comment. I don't want to miss this.

I never said I wanted them to stop. I was just wondering if they would lol. They can't resist themselves. They'll probably just use the money to go get some more expensive players like Hamilton perhaps.

Rubby's the one I hated to see go in this deal, actually. Especially when we had just waited a whole year for his return from Tommy John surgery.

Ruby De La Rosa is also a relevant piece...

I probably wouldn't have minded if Lee was in the deal and not Rubby, since Lee is still years away from contributing to the major league roster.

I will laugh if they take Crawford's money and give it to Michael Bourn, another leadoff hitter who GM's are going trip themselves over to overpay.

Surprised he's playing. They should just platoon Gomez and Sands

Hopefully only Atlanta is doing the tripping.Kyle Lohse. Mark it down. Banks will be broken over him.
