Let's hope not. I always make fun of Boston fans around these parts because they say "The Red Sox don't buy players like the Yankees". I always laugh at that comment. I don't want to miss this.

I never said I wanted them to stop. I was just wondering if they would lol. They can't resist themselves. They'll probably just use the money to go get some more expensive players like Hamilton perhaps.

Rubby's the one I hated to see go in this deal, actually. Especially when we had just waited a whole year for his return from Tommy John surgery.

I probably wouldn't have minded if Lee was in the deal and not Rubby, since Lee is still years away from contributing to the major league roster.
