He spins an average year into 5 million. Not bad (for him).

Not a bad risk for the Dodgers. I'm surprised they didn't re-sign Kuroda though. Capuano had a good year last year and will be moving into another pitcher's park. Three lefties in that rotation might do them some good.
Good strikeout rate, low walk rate. Home run rate identical to Ted Lilly's.
Oh well.
Well fuck. Lilly and Capuano AND Harang for the next two years? Oh well, what's 2 more years of mediocrity for a franchise that's already gone through 23 years of it, AMIRITE?
Fucking Ned won't spend the $12-14 million to keep Kuroda our #2 starter, yet he'll piss the money away on utility infielders, a backup catcher, and a couple of #4/5 starters. And of course the shitty part is these two year deals for Capuano, Harang, Mark Ellis, and Jerry Hairston Jr., are all backloaded so there will be even less money for 2013.

Hope you're all going to like the 2012 Dodgers, because the 2013 club is going to be the same, but older.

Kershaw, Billingsley, Lilly, Capuano, Harang really isn't that bad of a rotation. I don't get why they gave Hairston $3 million/yr though.
To fill their mediocrity infielder quota. I'm still shocked Ronny Cedeno hasn't landed here.

truebluela Now official: Dodgers will pay Harang, Capuano, Lilly, Guerrier, Uribe, Ellis, & Hairston $47.25 million in 2013 #ughWell, you could have, if only you hadn't burned $47.25 million on a steaming pile of shit the next year, you dumbfuck."Can we sign Prince (Fielder) for $3 million this year and $30 million the next year?"
—A rhetorical question asked by Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti. The Dodgers' payroll is dropping as the team gets sold, and that means they have no chance to sign Fielder this winter.
Well, it took all of 2 games to prove the signings to be a disaster.
where's Ronny Cedeno???
