    Dodgers Furcal Pondering Retirement?

    WOW! Now that's being dramatic! No way in hell do his teammates let him quit on them. The West is wide open and the Dodgers have gotten off to a decent start. Furcal is the MVP when healthy so a 4 to 6 week injury shouldn't force him to retire. He has been getting paid a lot of money to basically be a part time player so he owes to the Dodgers to finish out this contract. Blake, Uribe, Carroll and Loney doesn't sound right so I could see the Dodgers getting a short term fix. Aaron Miles is not the answer either.

    Yeah, I can't see this as serious talk. I can't blame him though for being down with yet another injury and losing out on that 2012 cash either. Shame too because he looked quite good in the games he was in last year.
