    The Dodgers have fired hitting coach Jeff Pentland.
    Pentland is hardly to blame, but the Dodgers enter play Wednesday second from the bottom in the National League with a .675 OPS and 352 runs scored. Former major league infielder Dave Hansen will serve as interim hitting coach for the rest of the season.
    Why not fire the rest of the staff and start fresh? I'm not talking about Mattingly but get some guys in there that you know can do a good job.

    No but it sure couldn't hurt to get really good coaches in there. I have the same complaints with the Giants.
