    Dodgers Billingsley gets 3-year deal

Sources: Chad Billingsley, Los Angeles Dodgers near 3-year deal - ESPN Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Chad Billingsley is closing on a new three-year contract that would pay him at least $30 million through 2014 with a possible option for 2015, according to multiple sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The deal would buy out Billingsley's final season of arbitration eligibility and at least his first two seasons of free-agent eligibility.
Wait a minute. We have money?

Good deal for the Dodgers. Blake and Furcal will be goners after this season and Ethier will likely be traded.

Looks like its worth $35-36 million, still a good deal.
