Dodgers Lambo hitting .400/.491/.533 for the Pirates' AA team

And he's just 22. It really hurts that they traded him for Dotel, a 36-year old washed up relief pitcher whose services were still so valued during the past offseason that he settled on a 1-year deal with the Pirates.

It's pitiful that this formerly storied franchise has become the broke-ass version of the New York Islanders. Trade every prospect we have to get the other team to kick in a million dollars to cover the acquired veteran's remaining salary.

    James McDonald: 15-inning scoreless streak

Leave the Dodgers, blossom into a stud.

A Dodgers blogger pointed out they should have never acquired Monasterios in the Rule 5 draft. Because he had to remain on the 25-man roster for the whole year, they insisted on giving him every opportunity to prove he could pitch at the big league level while McDonald was left to rot in AAA. Of course, wasting innings on the Ortiz brothers didn't help matters either.
