    Dodgers @ Astros series 7/8-7/10

Game 1: Astros win 3-2. Clemens and Houlton each had 2 earned runs. Duaner gave up a tying rbi triple to Berkman to make it 2-2 in the 7th and Miss Yhency gave up the go-ahead rbi to Ensberg in the 9th. Duaner got his 4th blown save and Miss Yhency's ERA is now 5.09. The bullpen is falling apart.

    Game 2: Astros won 4-2.

Roy Oswalt outpitched Weaver. As much as run support is to blame for Weaver's 7-8 record, would it kill him to start pitching like a $9 million pitcher and outduel than the opposing pitcher? Weaver keeps reminding me of Ismael Valdez--->

Carrara gave up a run after relieving Weaver. Elmer, Duaner, and Gio have been after taking over for the SPs.

Game 3: Odalis Perez vs. Brandon Backe

Jason Phillips 2-run HR! Not bad batting cleanup.

    Dodgers 5-1

Astros tie the game at 5-5

Odalis Perez has no competitive stones on the field and Osoria is a piece of crap.

    Astros win 6-5.

LA blows another lead. They had a 5-1 lead going to the top of the 5th and Perez and Osoria allowed the Astros to tie the game. Duaner gave up the capping run in the 8th. Robles tried to stretch a hit and was out at 2nd, ending the game. I'll give credit to Willy Taveras for the throw. Tracy said it best about doing whatever it takes to score off Lidge:
"I understand the intent of Oscar," Tracy said. "With (Brad) Lidge on the mound, you have to figure you're not going to get back-to-back hits. So he was aggressive and it took a perfect throw to get him.

"It was unfortunate that the game had to end like that."
Dumbass of the game: Odalis Perez. Once again, he showed no stones, this time by allowing the Astros to come back with a 4 run deficit.
