Random Here's an idea: Trade Kuroda to Anaheim

They need another starting pitcher, and here they would be getting one whose contract doesn't run through 2012, unlike Derek Lowe. Meanwhile, the Dodgers rid themselves of a pricey free agent-to-be to free up some cash for the nine arbitration cases without interference with the one divorce case. Perhaps there will even be enough left over to bring back Padilla or Garland. The Samurai doesn't have to move from his house with sliding paper doors. So, what's the problem? Afraid that fans will stop believing the PR bullshit? Please.

Quite frankly, with what little trade leverage they have with him, I have to expect that.

Oy. What a stupid idea by me. Somehow I let the criticism of his poor outing in Game 3 of last year's NLCS get to me that I almost forgot Kuroda is a pimp when he's on. He's not perfect, but he ain't a basketcase like Billingsley, Kershaw, and Padilla, either.

Still, if we were in position to sell him to Anaheim, they better pay up 'cause Joe Saunders and Ervin Santana aren't getting it done for them.
