    Dodgers 5/18 vs Mets

Wonder why Blake is getting two days off in a row. The Castro-Wolf combo at the bottom of the lineup is two automatic outs.

    Pierre lf
    Furcal ss
    Hudson 2b
    Ethier rf
    Martin c
    Loney 1b
    Kemp cf
    Castro 3b
    Wolf p

Juan Pierre is a freaking OBP machine. Already 2-0.

Blake has a strained hamstring. Otherwise, gamers don't take an at-bat off.

Note to the offense: Tim Redding stinks. Send him to the showers already.

I thought for sure Jerry Manuel would have brought in F-Raud.

After all, he did spent the last four years of his career pitching in the city of Los Angeles.

Our relievers are a bunch of basket cases. "2 outs, nobody on. Panic time!"

Wow, words cannot express what happened in the final inning. It's like for one day the baseball gods took all the futility and embarrassment of the Dodgers and redirected them toward the Mets.

Are you ****ing kidding me mofo? The futility and embarrassment of the Dodgers? I don't know what you've been smoking, but there is no team with more of a history of embarrassment and futility than the Mets. We ****ing sucked tonight, and I can't even explain it. Yes, we had a minor leaguer playing SS and a CF playing 1B, but we played like absolute garbage covered in piles of ****ing shit. We deserved to lose....

Just one more example of the Mets being such a tough team to root for. UGH.

I would gladly have Mike Piazza's prime years back and erase all memory of FOX's reign of incompetence.

I just saw the replay of both boners (no homo). Jerry Manuel immediately headed for the clubhouse after Reed's throwing error.

How do you not touch the bag while rounding third?
