Game 4/13: Orlando Hudson hits for the cycle

It had not been accomplished by a Dodger since Wes Parker 39 years ago, and Hudson became the first one to do so at Dodger Stadium. And it was done against the Giants, with three of the four hits off future Hall of Famer Randy Johnson. Congrats to the O-Dawg.

First triple play and cycle on the books of 2009 in just a matter of weeks. Excellent. Next week, the first no hitter and the first manager fired.

Yeah, in one week, we've had:

    - one triple play (Pirates)
    - one guy hit for the cycle (Orlando Hudson)
    - one bench-clearing near-brawl (Beckett and Abreu)
    - two guys hitting their 300th career home runs in back-to-back at-bats (Dye, Konerko)
    - three baseball deaths (Fidrych, Kalas, Adenhart)
    - three complete game shutouts (Lohse, Harang, Zach Duke)

    Quick start to the season.

So who had Duke and Lohse in the complete game shutout pool? Eh eh?
