Dodgers What to make of Pierre's attitude?

"Last year was torture for me," Juan Pierre tells Bob Nightengale of USA Today. "If this organization thinks I'll be happy making money and sitting on the bench, they signed the wrong guy."
He appears to be just another player whining about playing time, but it's not the typical case. He isn't playing for a new contract, and it still kills him to not be on the field during game time. His comments are no doubt a distraction, and he seems delusional about his value to the team, but is his attitude worse than a player who is more than happy to collect paychecks for nothing? I'm not sure it is.

The man wants to be traded and I don't blame him. It is just next to impossible for the Dodgers to trade him is the ***** of it. He still shows everyday and works hard so I see nothing wrong with his comments.
