    The Dodgers control Manny for 2009, as he has the option for 2010. If he plays well this season, he hits the market again next winter. He might get the deal that Boras was holding out for this year, although at that salary level, not many teams will be interested in the potential problems he can create.
    Question for Dodger fans -- Who needed who more -- Manny needed the Dodgers or the Dodgers needed Manny?
