Mofo is playing paradox's angle.

He pretends to never expect the Dodgers to amount to anything (much like Doxx pretended the Giants to do)

That way if the Dodgers lose he can say they did as well as he expected them to do.

But, should the Dodgers manage to pull off the upsets and win it all, he can gloat to everyone about how his favorite team won it all.

That's ridiculous to say that I am playing an angle. That's just the way I am as a fan. I'm not expressing myself in this way to duck from smack when the team loses. If I wanted hugs and kisses from the opposing fans after the game, I would start one of those stupid obligatory "congrats" threads.
