Game 1: Zach Duke vs. Kuroda
Game 2: Matt Morris vs. Kuo
Game 3: Paul Maholm vs. Penny
The series doesn't begin until tomorrow and there's already good news: Duke and Maholm are lefthanded pitchers, and that means Slappy McPopup sits for two games.

I didn't follow today's game. It's probably a good thing I didn't. That our most reliable pitcher cost the team a win today is just another sign this season isn't going to go well. I'm not saying that because I'm down on the team. I'm saying that because the team as of now is just down...on the bottom of the division.
And if any of you take pleasure in my being down on the team, go **** yourself. Literally, since sick pleasure seems like your kind of thing.
I thought Kuo was going to hand the game to the Pirates when he walked in the first run in the first inning, bringing back flashbacks of Kaz Ishii. But to his credit, Kuo settled down and the bats woke up for this game. A 10-run cushion was all Loaiza needed to close out the game.
We've come to naturally accept you being down on.. pretty much anything that exists on planet Earth.
By the way, at this point, are we still counting Matt Morris as a real big league starting pitcher?
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

I just might be on strike until the team gets it collective head out its ass. My postgame reaction would as of now all just be fuel to the fire for the Yankee fans who have hated Joe Toree for the way he mishandles a pitching staff, and the Dodger haters out there. This team's tagline for this season might as well be Pierre's quote: "It is what it is."
