    Bring Chan Ho Park Back

    Oh wait, they did!
Dodgers purchased the contract of RHP Chan Ho Park from Triple-A Las Vegas.

The Dodgers aren't likely to need Park as a starter even after using both Chad Billingsley and Esteban Loaiza out of the pen on Wednesday. He will be available in middle relief tonight.
Prepare to meet your doom opposing teams!

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

It's all because Joe Torre used his #3, 5, and 6 starting pitchers for the last game. Chan Ho performed well in mopping up Loaiza's awful outing in the Coliseum game.

Speaking of the rotation, our No. 6 starter is pitching way better than our No. 3 and 5 starters.

Chan Ho's two innings of scoreless mopup relief work was the bright spot of the pitching in the last game. Still better than Glendon Rusch.

[peytonmanning] So, Chan Ho just had 5 innings of 1-run ball wasted by a bullpen meltdown. It's ok, it's ok. As a starter, he's still better than Justin Germano.

Why did they pull him after just 83 pitches? He was doing pretty well, gave up a shot to Sabathia and Peralta almost hit one out, but seemed like he had them in check otherwise.

Maybe he was tired after throwing around 80 pitches. 100 pitches isn't the standard for everyone. Or maybe Uncle Joe wanted to get his boy Scott Proctor his 166th straight relief appearance.

Re: Bring Chan Ho Park Back

A lot worse has been left in to throw 100 pitches, with far less results.

By the way, I was watching that game. I couldn't get over how much Eric Karros was hyping Park up during his first stint with the dodgers. I know they were teammates, so it's obviously biased. But was Park that great? I just can't even remember that. Park moments for me were:

    Handing Ripken the allstar homerun
Karate kicking whatever batter who was charging him
    The massive contract from Texas
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?

He gave up one of the big HRs to Bonds, don't remember which one
