    What's more ironic?

    a) Joe Torre replacing Grady Little

    OR

    b) Joe Torre and Scott Proctor's arm reunited
    I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

    He had great impact on the Braves and Cards when he first got there. Then all of his talent went away. Hard to win anything without talent.

    Meh, I don't really mind...if he's not the manager I don't really care whether he sticks around. Best of luck to the both of them, and go Dodgers in the NL in '08.

    Besides, "bench coaches" really don't serve much of a purpose. They sit around and hang out, basically. That's their whole job.
