Ken Gurnick, of Dodgers.MLB.com, reports the Glendale, Ariz., city council unanimously approved the development of the proposed $80 million complex to be shared by the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox Tuesday, June 26. The Dodgers and White Sox would move in for the spring of 2009 if the project is approved.

AZ is where everyone is and has been heading.......it's already a great mecca for spring baseball in case some of you haven't been......we've gone every year for the last 10 or so......and it's just a great time

I would love to go to an Arizona Cactus league spring training site. It looks so nice out there. I have been to a few in Florida including the Orioles and Braves, but would love to venture to Arizona to catch some spring training there.

It's great........so many team is such close proximity........you can easily get your baseball fix in an extended weekend
