    Dodgers Dodgers @ Padres

    (33-23) vs. (33-23)

    6/5 Game 1: Jason Schmidt (1-2, 7.36 ERA) vs. Chris Young (6-3, 2.42 ERA)

    6/6 Game 2: Randy Wolf (7-3, 3.68 ERA) vs. Greg Maddux (4-3, 3.92 ERA)

    6/7 Game 3: Hong-Chih Kuo (0-1, 7.71 ERA) vs. Jake Peavy (7-1, 1.68 ERA)

Got some good pitchers in this series. I always enjoy watching Greg Maddux pitch.

I don't think that pitching rotation for the Dodgers is accurate.

Schmidt's pitching on Tuesday, otherwise the match ups are correct.

I had a feeling that would be changed because I read that Hendrickson was being moved to the bullpen to make room for Schmidt in the rotation.

Seanez served up the winning lone run, but I suppose he's not to be fully blamed when Russell Branyan is allowed to steal second.

At least Schmidt wasn't shelled by the Padres' batters, like Padre fans expected. In fact, it was just the opposite.

The Padres won with only 2 hits, only the 2nd time in history that has happened. I was watching the end of it after the Angels game was over.

Wolf didn't pitch well and got the loss tonight, but they had won five straight games with him starting, so it was just a matter of time before he had an off-game. Tomorrow's pitching matchup of Kuo vs. Peavy should result in a 3-game sweep for the Padres, but maybe the Dodgers can get lucky, who knows.

Nope, a rare good start by Kuo was wasted by Broxton's blown save and loss. Sucks that Saitotime wasn't available to close the game.
