Dodgers signed RHP Chin-Hui Tsao, who had been with the Rockies, to a one-year contract.
Finalizing a deal that was done earlier this month. The 25-year-old Tsao probably won't contribute early on, but there's still a chance that he could overcome his shoulder troubles and become an effective reliever for the Dodgers. Expect him to spend at least the first month or two working his way back at Triple-A Las Vegas. While in the majors, he's expected to receive a salary of about $400,000.

Signing Chin-Hui Tsao accomplishes nothing except to replace Chin-Feng Chen as the trophy of the Las Vegas Taiwanese community.
