LA won the first game, 6-2. Knock on wood, Lowe appears to be out of his month long slump. Lofton has been solid in the 2-hole. Lugo continues to suck; Colletti has a sick obsession with Devil Ray players.

15,416 showed up for the game in Miami, which would make for a sellout crowd for a Heat game. Maybe the Marlins should play their home games at American Airlines Arena.

The Dodgers gave the Marlins an LAPD asskicking today, 10-2. Lugo had 2 hits to raise his batting average in the NL to an even .200. Uh, congrats, Julio. The player that Porter named No Stick shockingly had no hits but is still batting .284.
