    Cardinals Dodgers @ Cardinals 7/13-7/16

    Game 1: Billingsley vs. Marquis
    Game 2: Lowe vs. Carpenter
    Game 3: Hendrickson vs. Suppan
    Game 4: Penny vs. Reyes

    St. Louis won the first three games by scores of 3-2 in 14, 5-0, and 2-1.

    Wasn't the Cardinals' starting pitching supposed to suck right now? Instead, the Dodgers scored only 3 runs combined in the first three games. The Dodgers chose to walk Pujols this time today but Rolen killed them with a game-winning RBI.

    Cards 11-3, final. Not a good game for Penny. Perez gave up 5 runs in 2 innings of mopup work.
