    Impressive was Guerrero taking a Penny's 98mph fastball above his hands over the wall!!! Penny looked good but maybe should have thrown at least a breaking ball.

    they interviewed him after his appearance and he said, with the knowledge that he wouldn't be in for more than 2 innings, threw nothing but heat to see what would happen.

    Seems to have worked out fairly well. Struck out the side in the 1st and the homerun he gave up was high out of the strike zone anyway. I bet most guys would have flied out, but not Vlad. I think the pitch he hit out was about shoulder height or so.
    Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.
