    Latest news....

    Update: Gagne will be shut down for a few days after an MRI taken Wednesday revealed swelling around the ulner nerve in his elbow, the team's official website reports.

    Recommendation: Obviously horrible news for the Dodgers, Gagne and fantasy owners. Gagne will not pitch for a minimum of three days and will hope anti-inflammatory medication resolves the latest problem with an elbow that has undergone two operations in the last year and Tommy John surgery in 1997.

    Gagne with the save in Game 2 and Odalis Perez got lit up again in the rubber match. Gagne going down again means more blown saves by Baez to come.
