Gagne having surgery for the second time in two years makes one wonder if he will ever be the same pitcher he was?

If these injury problems keep happening, so much for the "Gagne is one of the greatest, if not the greatest closer ever" arguments.

Sure he was outstanding for the 2 or 3 years he was healthy, but longevity goes into that argument as well.

I heard he may only be out 2 months now, though.

    Seems appropriate for a Dodger.

Nevermind the "one of greatest closers" arguments. If Gagne is done pitching, it's as ****ed up as Carson Palmer's injury, only what Gagne does on the field further aggravates his injury.

How many saves does your $21 million closer have this season? Hint: The answer is two less than the number of smilies in your post.

Yeah I know. I'm not thrilled with our pen...it's early but still.
