    Angels Angels Chances

Anyone who doesn't see an Angels repeat?

I'm giving this division to the A's, man. If they can avoid being absolutely brutal in the 1st half like they were last year, they can win this division. C'mon...Zito, Harden, Blanton, Haren, Street, Chavez, Kotsay, Dan Johnson...that's a very well balanced team.

Yes, I think the A's will win it because they would have won last year had it not been for Crosby and Harden missing a lot of time due to injuries. They were in it until the last week of the season.

This offseason the A's actually improved their team, while the Angels appear to have lost more than they have gained.

Yeah, don't forget they lost Washburn and Molina.

And Paul Byrd...he was 12 - 11 with a 3.74 ERA...not super, but still his ERA was better than Weaver who was in a pitcher's park...and now he isn't.

I remember Byrd when he was with the Braves.

Who'd he sign with in the offseason? Was it KC?

I think Anaheim will win, they did actually win in the playoffs too. And their catching replacement, Jeff Mathis, is a future all star. They still have the Cy Young winner and a phenomenal bullpen. And who cares about Jarrod Washburn?

Future all star? He batted .220-something in AA a year ago.

    Ok, but that doesn't matter...
    damn
ok well im banking he'll do better than you think he will.
    im saying around .260/15/55

I won't give him 15 HRs, but something like .255, 9 HRs, 47 RBIs sounds right. 100 games caught.

That's my whole point. You're the one spouting "Future all star", not me.
