Angels Scioscia resigning as manager at end of the season

Angels fans since 2002 are relieved that he's finally resigning and not re-signing. Never say never, but I have to believe this is end of his managerial career with all the front offices in the league requiring their managers to read a spreadsheet.

The next manager of the Angels is...Brad Ausmus. The fans understandably aren't thrilled with a retread, but Dartmouth boys can read a spreadsheet, and Ned Yost and A.J. Hinch are two recent examples of retreads who have panned out.
