    Offense struggling to say the least

    The pitching staff has carried the Angels this season and kept them in first place in the American League West, however tenuous that has become.

    Like it did for much of the first two months of this season, the offense has struggled lately. While that may cause a rift in some clubhouses, it hasn't affected the Angels, where the chemistry has maintained an even keel all season.
    They better hope the offense gets going or they're going to be in trouble.

    It was defense that killed them yesterday. Erstad had 4 errors on the season and made two yesterday. OC made an eror but it was ruled a base hit. I think it was AK who also made an error. The #1 defense had a heck of a day yesterday.
