Angels choked in game one and lost 8-0 in a park that they traditionally do not do well in . Steve Finely got career hits number 2400 and 2401. Vladdy left the game in the 9th after doubling over at first base. Not sure what happened yet.

Well, good news is that thankfully Vladdy just had cramps last night and is OK, bad news is Angels lost 3-2 today in 10..... Are we done with this series yet? More bad news.....A's are on our tail....4.5 back...

The halo at the Big A hasn't been used in a while.....Nice by the Jays.

That was a marathon game and the Angels came out on the short end. Both starters got ripped off as they both pitched great games. It was the offense that sucked.

Did anyone catch Scioscias 5-man infields during this series? That was something I hadn't seen in quite a long time. He did it twice in tonights game that I saw. It reminded me of a softball game, you know like when they have a rover in the outfield..... I noticed the Jays fans didn't care for it too much though.....I wonder if he learned that from Lasorda?

Anyway, on to NY.....

Didn't see the game, but I imagine Figgins from leftfield was part of the 5-man infield. Juan Rivera batting 3rd??

Exacta mundo......last night it was Finely. Even Steve and Hud were sayin how Finely had no business being in the infield being a lefty......no matter....gotta love Scioscia's NL style and guts.....I love that part about baseball.....keep em guessing......don't see that much anymore. Lasorda was good for that.

Gawd, I love this game and what it used to be.
