Angels begin big series with Yanks

    http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/NAS...=.jsp&c_id=ana

In a possible postseason matchup, the Angels will take on the Yankees in a four-game series at Angel Stadium. The series will get under way Thursday night with a marquee pitching matchup: Bartolo Colon vs. Randy Johnson.
Should be an exciting series, but I have to say I'm rooting for the Yanks to help out the A's.

With all due respect because I like you, but why is this Angels series any bigger than any other series? Because its Spanky and the Gang? Puhleeze.

He wrote "big series" not "biggest". Are you saying this is not a big series?

Big because it could be a playoff matchup and the Yanks have been hot lately. Plus the Angels just lost a series, it'd be big for them to win this series to try and get some momentum back. Bigger than, oh say, a devil dogs series? OK, the Angels and Yanks just began a mediocre series, is that better?

and maybe I meant big as in 4 game series instead of 2 or 3?

To me anytime you play the Yankees it's a big series. Until the start to fall completely off the map they are still big.

Yeah, I thought of that but I just thought I'd harass you anyway. And...IMO, all series for the Angels are big, even with KC, Toronto....NY,etc......no matter....
