    Angels Time to worry?

At what point do you start to worry with Pujols off to such a crappy start. I know its early and Pujols started similar last year. I mean the guy went 21 straight at bats before getting a hit last night which he went 1-4 and was jogging around the bases. Good to know that the Angels have him locked down for 10 years so no other team has to worry about if they are getting what they paid for.

You know you've failed as an organization when Vernon Wells is only the second worst contract on your payroll.

I'm not worried one bit. It's still May 1st!!!! Texieira used to start this horrible EVERY April and us Yankee fans kind of just........got used to it. And when we stopped getting on his back every April because we knew he'd turn it around, he stopped having bad Aprils.

I think we all got the memo that it doesn't suck to have Jeter, A-Rod, Cano, Granderson, etc. to carry your offense.

Worried might be a strong word but to go this long without a HR is pretty dumbfounding. He even sometimes thinks he got all of one to fall about 20ft short of the fence. He has a pitiful .539 OPS and only 5 RBI. After last season's dropoff, there has to be some level of concern.

    Re: Time to worry?

I will say to Albert Pujol that, "Don't worry, Pujol all will become fine". Try to see now what are they saying and act accordingly. Long term contracts are always focused and strategised with complete focus. Well now you should talk to them about some solution and then only your worrying situation will end.

    Re: Time to worry?

I don't know how Fernando Rodney went from a loser who couldn't throw a strike last year for the Angels to a clutch mofo getting Albert Pujols to ground into game ending double plays this year, but I'm loving the irony.
