McPherson resumes baseball activities

McPherson, who's been on the disabled list since July 8, took ground balls Monday at Angel Stadium and is expected to resume hitting in a matter of days. He spent the last week at Physiotherapy Associates in Tempe, Ariz., receiving treatment.

Angels brass have high hopes for this kid if they're willing to give up Glaus willingly, and for his sake and the team's sake, he better get healthy and producing. The Angels could use a bat in case someone like Finley finally hits an age wall.
