With a runner on second. Not his fault no one else could get the job done. I do agree the three run save rule is dumb but its the way things are right now. Your hatred towards Krod is plain silly.

I don't hate Rodriguez at all, I think he's a top closer but this save record is not a big deal especially when he hasn't been the best closer in baseball this year. Read that article I posted.

I read it. Didn't bother me one bit. He will blow by the record and it is a big deal despite what Mr. Verducci says. Krod is a much bigger name than Thigpen and the fact that he has helped them win all but 20 games is remarkable. Still has a 2.20 ERA and dropping. Who cares if his k/9 is down? Its still over 9. Rivera is better at this point but rather have Krod moving forward as I have said.

Mariano got a REAL svae last night. Coming on w/ 2 on and 1 out in the 8th protecting a 1 run lead in a huge game.

Are you trying to imply that KRod doesn't get any "real" saves?

Just comparing that true save to what we sqaw from both Mariano and Rodriguez the previous game.

Krod now has 43 saves and the Angels have 64 wins. Amazing!

Another fraud save, comes on w/ a 3 run lead and celebrates like he actually accomplished something.

Sure he has but these BS saves are becoming consistent b/c they want him to get this silly record. Mariano is doing a MUCH better job than rodriguez but we have to hear about rodriguez every day b/c of this silly save record.

LOL We have to hear about the Yankees/Red Sox every ******* day! I don't want to hear you're crying!! KRod came in the 9th with a three run lead facing the Red Sox best three hitters. Not exactly BS!

Heaven forbid we have to hear about something other than the Yankees on ESPN.
