    Santana Sent Down

Angels optioned RHP Ervin Santana to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Mike Napoli replaces him on the roster. Santana gave up 16 runs in his final two starts and was 5-11 with a 6.28 ERA overall. He still has a rather bright future ahead of him, but this is the right move. The Angels will likely call up Joe Saunders to replace him in the rotation.
He has just been awful all season which was very unexpected. Keep him down til he figures out what is wrong with his mechanics. He needs work!

One game too late. He should of been sent down already.

Great fantasy pick for me! Santana initially only struggled on the road but his poor mechanics and pitch selection finally caught up with him everywhere.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.
