John Thomson is not a rookie. He was traded to the Royals from the Braves. Thomson was the Braves #3 starter I believe.

Oh , Thanks. He must have been in the Bluejays organization as well, wasn't he?

Ok so the Royals have beaten the Angels in the first two games of this series (YAY!) and it will be De La Rosa vs Weaver. I think the Angels will get a win here, but (sorry to all you Angels fans) I'm hoping they won't.

It would just be funny if the Royals swept the Angels.

I would love to see the Royals do it. I just don't see it happening. Weaver needs to become a consistent winner after his last outing against the Dodgers was a win the one before against St. Louis was a poor outing. He needs to step up and put a string of great performances in a row.

The Royals get the job down of a improbably sweep of the Angels with a 1-0 victory over them today. De La Rosa outdueled Jared Weaver to get the Win. A great series for the Royals.

I don't know if I'd go that far just yet.

With that loss, and the win by the my team, the A's and M's gain a game on the Halos. Next up, the O's. In Baltimore. If the O's can keep playing like they are against the Yankees, they might have a shot at a series win.

The problem with that series is the Orioles will have Trachsel & Burres pitching two of the games.

And the Angels will have Escobar, Colon, and Lackey. Tough series for the O's.

Yes it is. If the Orioles can get two wins out of this series I would be really happy.

I think they can take Fat Boy Colon.
