    8/23 Game 2: Jon Lester (6-2, 4.72 ERA) vs. Kelvim Escobar (9-10, 3.77 ERA)
    8/24 Game 3: Josh Beckett (13-8, 5.35 ERA) vs. Jered Weaver (9-0, 1.95 ERA)

    Based on the matchups, this series looks like it should be long to the Angels. Especially with Saunders and Weaver going for them. Best chance for the Sox tow in one is probably Lester. Beckett has really not pitched well for 13 game winner.

    The Sox are playing terrible after being swept by the Yankees. If they don't find their game than I see a sweep for the Angels.

    Well they were able to break their 6-game skid with the help of Ortiz and Wily 5-4 last night.

    Jered Weaver has suffered the first loss of his young career. Pretty surprising considering how bad Beckett has been pitching lately, and the fact that Weaver only gave up 1 run over 6 innings. Even when he loses he dominates.
