    Royals Get Swept

    Well the Royals home opening series didn't go well as they got swept by the Mariners. We lose a tough game on Monday, it was close until the 8th inning. Runelvys pitched well again even though he got tagged with the loss.

    Zach Greinke also pitched well yesterday but the Royals lost 2-1.

    And today Bautista struggled and the Royals got torched 10-2


    No offense at all this series. 5 runs in 3 games.

    "Getting Swept" is the theme for the season. I'm still optimistic about this group of young players. I don't mind the losing too much because I expected it and foresee, or at least hope, that they will win in a few years. Without that 2003 season, it could be completely different though. But the way they are losing by playing bad, no fundamental baseball is frustrating.
