    18 In A Row

This is beyond embarrassing, even for a young team. I'm looking forward to next week to go see the Red Sox while they are in town. My question is, will the Royals end the streak by then?

They can steal one if Remlinger is asked to protect a lead.

They are stuck now with 3 tough series, NY, Bos, Oak I think. Could push it to 27 . I think they win one soon though. This is beyond pathetic though, even for a young team.

John "Steel Nut" Kruk said they'll win Friday...if not Sunday. I hate to see them keep losing, but my A's have lost 4 in a row...a 3 game sweep would be nice. Then, go ahead and sweep the Red Sox with Curt Shelling blowing 2 saves! That's what I'd want...I'm so sick of the Red Sox

If the lead is over 5 runs, then Remlinger can protect it since not even a grand slam can penetrate it.

And it took until August for Providence to get so sick of the Sox. He's improving in his resistance! Woohoo!

If the Royals win on Friday, Kruk has to fart again on Baseball Tonight.

What sucks is by principle I have to hope the Royals beat the Red Sox, and even though I like the Sox I can't help but root for KC. But it'll suck if Boston loses ground on the Yankees.

At least they didn't lose today.

Yeah they are and I may get tired of the Chief talk more quickly than usual. Of course they may not have a team if their players keep getting arrested.

Jay Leno has made a ton of Kansas City Royals jokes basically all week from that last comment I just said to "The first team eliminated in the Little League World Series is the Kansas City Royals."
