    Royals Butler Gets New Agent

According to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com, Billy Butler has changed agents to Greg Genske of Legacy Sports.
Butler was previously represented by Doug Rogalski. The timing is interesting, given that he is arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter. Butler, who turns 25 next April, batted .318/.388/.469 with 15 homers, 45 doubles and 78 RBI this season.
I like Butler and at 25, I still think his power is going to come eventually. 45 doubles is definitely nothing to laugh at. The guy can hit and should continue to get better. Maybe with some protection in the lineup, he could do better.

    Re: Butler Gets New Agent

1B is obviously a tough performance position, but if Butler could raise his OBP to over .400 (he is pretty darn close) and hit 20-25, which seems very likely given his output in 2009.... along with all those doubles, it would be hard to argue with his new agent.
