    Royals Alex Gordon out 3-4 weeks

    Alex Gordon is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a broken thumb.
    At least he has already accomplished more at the big league level than Dallas McPherson ever did.

    Gordon, for his age, did have a pretty solid effort in 2008. Lefties are his bane though and he needs to figure it out soon before he won't be afforded the chance he is in KC to be the star many thought he could be.

    Danget! I keep hoping I will see Gordon become a big part of the KC lineup, but now I have to wait even longer. Hopefully this isn't one of those nagging inuries that he has to baby day in and day out.
